Want to learn the basics of cross-stitching while hanging out with rad people and creating hilarious masterpieces of craft? This is the class for you! We’re not stitching “Precious Moments”, complicated seascapes, or even majestic birds of prey; we have some choice words and phrases instead.
During this two-hour course, we’ll be covering the fundamental skills necessary to complete a simple cross-stitch project, including: reading and setting up a design, thread techniques, and creating patterns. You’ll get to choose the word(s) you’d like to immortalize in thread, and take home all of the supplies we use.
Cross-stitching can be super cool, and totally personal! Love that obscure quotation? Stitch it out! Want to make retro samplers, but you’re short on time? Take your stitchin’ stuff with you and pick it back up whenever you have a moment! Finished projects can be framed, or made into a one-of-a-kind pillow!
