Every month on the third Thursday from 7-9 pm: Houston Maker Meet Up

Come to our monthly informal happy hours and meet some of the folks who are raising the stakes for the Houston maker community. There will be people who can help you make, market, and sell your creations.

We'll also talk about things like:

- What resources already exist to source, make, and sell your goods? Where are the gaps? What do we need?
- What makerspaces already exist? What are the new ones on the horizon? Where should you go for what?
- What events (big and small) exist for the maker community? Workshops? Classes?

Each month we showcase different makers in the community.

If you are interested in presenting at a future Houston Maker Meet Up, please email us! (info@houstonmakerspace.com)

As always, FREE BEER courtesy of Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co.

We are warmed by the overwhelming response from the community asking to participate in Houston Makerspace!

Please join us from 11 am- noon every third Saturday to hear about projects we are working on and find out how you can be involved. We have opportunities for a variety of skills and backgrounds, including fundraising, events, our street team, our facilities team, and more!

Stick around after the information session for our monthly Clean Up Party and participate in projects around the warehouse including but not limited to building shelves and workbenches, making signs, setting up equipment, and general cleaning tasks. As a thank you for your time, we'll make sure to have plenty of pizza and beer on hand!

No need to RSVP to this event - just show up! (be sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty!)

Working on your latest knitting or crochet project? Get out of the house and join us at HMS for our monthly Stitch & Bitch!

Drop in any time from 6-8:30pm on the last Tuesday of each month. Hang out with other yarn addicts as we work our way through individual projects.

This is a free event (but NOT a class. Knitting and Crochet classes for beginners are a totally different thing); please RSVP to let us know to expect you this month!

Upcoming dates: September 30th, October 28th, and November 25th

We love feedback: if you have a suggestion for an event and/or would like to teach a class or give a lecture, give us a shout at info@houstonmakerspace.com
